MAKS Metrics & Impact Report

MAKS is currently positioned as an upstream and applied-technology platform within  innovation ecosystem, developing the confidence, practical skills and technical culture from which future engineers, researchers, innovators and founders can emerge.

MAKS presently builds practical capability before young people reach formal research, engineering careers or entrepreneurship.

Current work creates a progression pathway:

Early Robotics → Applied STEM → Competition → Engineering Projects → Innovation Capability

The focus is not only attendance. It is the ability to build, test, present and improve real technical systems.

Early Robotics Programme

The programme past year reached 60+ learners across three delivery points locally. It provides entry-level experience in robotics, coding, teamwork and technical problem-solving.

Smart Specialisation Strategy

A seven-participant pilot in 2025 expanded into a structured applied-STEM programme reaching 31 participants in 2026. nationwide.

International contact.

Competition performance

Total 18 students 2 medals + 1 top-four result

These results demonstrate progression from first-entry participation to medal-winning and top-four performance.

Technical outputs

Applied entry level educational space systems payloads with radio telemetry.

Communications functional  demonstrator using optical transmission, photosensing, optical filtering, microcontroller timing and browser monitoring.

Environmental technology originated water-monitoring concept transferred to partners for external implementation and public presentation.

Motion monitoring beta-tested embedded hardware-and-software platform with sensing, BLE, alarms, logging and export.

Engineering learning builds Rover and basic aerial-systems prototypes.

Educational & Technology Fair

Strong local and national impact: the 2026 Educational & Technology Fair reached the full local primary-school network and inclusion-group participation. Connected presenting teams from all three regions of Montenegro.

International visibility and contact/marketing.
